Dog Street is located in Melbourne, Australia. More specifically all of your orders are hand packed with care in the lovely suburb of Moonee Ponds, and our treats are made not far away in our warehouse in Spotswood.

It means we use the same products you would use in your kitchen, unless you're vegetarian! These products come from facilities that are certified to handle and ship produce used for human consumption. And why not, this is what the RSPCA recommends for your pet.

We take extra care to make sure that nothing harmful is in any of our treats. They are all-natural with no Sorbitol, Glycerin or Phosphates and we don't use chemicals to dry or colour our treats. 

Our treats have nothing added to them to make them look pretty or smell pretty (in the eyes and nose of hoomans). They contain no additives, end of story. In fact, if you get some treats from other companies and they don’t smell like dried meat then something has been added. Take a bite of the Dog Street Chicken Jerky and what you are tasting is 100% chicken breast in all its crunchy goodness.

The cow rawhide is responsibly sourced from manufacturers in Thailand where they process the hides traditionally, no caustic or toxic chemicals added, nor do we use bleach or colourings. Generally, the hides have come from small Australian abattoirs, that treat the hides with salt who then export the hides to Thailand. 

Dog Street treats are air-dried at low temperatures to naturally remove most of the moisture from the products. This is why we don’t put those little packets in the bags to absorb the moisture, because our treats are already dry. 

Dog Street treats are great for your dog's oral health, but it will depend on what other things your doggo eats as well. The type of main food you're feeding them, what your pupper finds while out in the yard, on a run or at the park will also determine what their breath is like. To some dogs possum poo is delicious, and even if they are eating Dog Street treats too, the poop will still affect their breath.

You may experience variations in sizes and colours from pack to pack, particularly the twists and pops, but the delicious taste will always be the same!

Dog Street cares about our Earth, that's why we chose to use compostable bags to help protect our planet and the creatures on it. As compostable bags break down over time, the bags may not seal every time after opening.
